Overview
The Justice Partnership and Innovation Program offers up to $77.9 million over two years to support projects that enhance fairness, accessibility, and innovation in the Canadian justice system, including the development of Black-specific court worker and navigation services. Eligible activities include workshops, conferences, training sessions, pilot projects, research initiatives, and public legal education.
Financing terms and conditions
- $77.9 million allocated over two years (2025-26) to support the launch of Canada's Black Justice Strategy, including $4.3 million specifically dedicated to develop and pilot Black-specific court worker and navigation services.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Canadian not-for-profit organization, a provincial, territorial, regional or municipal government, a provincial or territorial Crown corporation, or a Canadian educational institution or board of education.
- International governments or international non-governmental organizations, including those associated with organizations of which Canada is a member, are eligible.
- Bands, tribal councils, self-governing First Nations and Inuit are eligible applicants.
- The project must support a fair, relevant, and accessible Canadian justice system and address priorities such as access to justice, family violence, or emerging justice issues.

- Bands, tribal councils, self-governing First Nations and Inuit
