  • Non-profit organizations delivering entrepreneurship or innovation programming
  • Non-profit incubators, accelerators, and community partners serving underrepresented communities

  • Projects and activities that benefit York Region

Processing and Agreement

  • Successful applicants must sign a Funding Agreement before funds are issued.
  • Funding is disbursed within 30 business days after the agreement is signed.
  • Recipients must submit a Final Project Report to demonstrate project completion.

Additional information

  • Two qualified non-profit organizations are expected to be awarded under this stream.
  • The fund supports nonprofits serving underrepresented communities and founders developing Agri-tech and Cleantech innovations.
  • Projects may run for up to 10 months.
