Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Individuals with low income and working income.
  • Families claiming the Canada Workers Benefit.
  • Tax filers who may be eligible for the disability supplement.

Who is not eligible

  • Full-time students for more than 13 weeks without an eligible dependant.
  • Individuals confined in prison or a similar institution for at least 90 days.
  • Individuals exempt from Canadian income tax as foreign officials or their family members.
