• Non-daily community newspapers in print and digital formats.

Who is not eligible

• Projects outside the scope of print or digital media.
• Applicants not meeting the size or activity criteria.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Activities outside the scope of media innovation for print and digital publications.
• Projects not initiated within eight weeks of application submission.
• Expenses related to activities outside eligible media activities such as advertising or unrelated research.

Eligible geographic areas

• Relevance of the project to media innovation and sector development.
• Feasibility and clarity of project planning.
• Potential impact on the media organization’s growth and sustainability.

• Applications are reviewed for eligibility and alignment with program objectives.
• Decision notifications are sent to applicants after review completion.
• Successful applicants must sign a funding agreement outlining terms and conditions.
• Disbursement of funds occurs based on agreement conditions and project milestones.
