Fondation des Amis du Parc Oméga
Our Mission and Vision
The Fondation des Amis du Parc Oméga, in partnership with Parc Oméga, is dedicated to supporting charitable activities and funding other organizations to fulfill its mission: to protect animals, endangered species, and preserve natural habitats. By emphasizing conservation, care, and rehabilitation, the Foundation strives to offer a brighter future for vulnerable species while safeguarding the environments they depend upon.
Education and Awareness
A key component of the Foundation’s work is education and research. Through educational initiatives, the Fondation inspires collective awareness about the importance of biodiversity, fostering a future where humans and nature can live in harmony. Educational workshops take place in local primary schools, and public programs encourage community involvement in biodiversity conservation.
Main Conservation Projects
Some of the Foundation’s notable projects include the recovery program for the Eastern Loggerhead Shrike and the breeding program for the Chorus Frog. The Foundation also supports species like the monarch butterfly with special exhibitions and activities, raising awareness and mobilizing public support for endangered wildlife.
Community Activities and Fundraising
The Foundation organizes numerous events such as Earth Day activities for students, endangered species awareness days, and tree planting campaigns. These initiatives are supported by fundraising events like benefit evenings and concerts, where donations help finance ongoing and future projects. Supporters can contribute by subscribing to the newsletter and making direct donations to back conservation efforts.
